About This Project

A passion for gaming, a love for code.

Hey, I’m Kaito. I’m from Asia, and I made this website called LevelCalculator.com. It’s a small side project, just something I really wanted to make for a while. If you’re into Steam like me, maybe it’s something you’ll also find useful.

I’ve been using Steam for many years. Not just for games, but also for the fun stuff around it—like profile badges, crafting, backgrounds, emojis. I know it’s not important to everyone, but for me, it’s just a nice extra layer. Like a little hobby inside the hobby. One thing that always annoyed me though… leveling up on Steam is confusing. You see people at level 100 or 200 or more and wonder how much time or money they spent. But if you want to plan your own level—maybe reach level 50 for the five showcase slots, or just level 10 for trading—there’s no easy way to check how much XP you need or how many badges it would take.

I searched around and didn’t find a good tool. Some sites asked you to log in with Steam, some were super outdated, some just felt shady. So yeah—I thought maybe I can just make something myself. I’m not a pro developer or anything, but I know enough to build simple tools. So I made this calculator. You put in your current Steam level, the level you want, and it tells you how much XP you need and how many badges that is. That’s it. No login, no tracking, no fluff. I tried to keep it super simple and fast. I don’t even store anything. You use it, get your result, and move on. That’s how I like tools to be. I respect privacy, and I know many of you do too. For now, this is just the first version. Maybe I’ll add more stuff later—like a badge cost estimator or some guides—but only if people actually want it. If not, that’s fine too. I made this mostly for myself and a few friends, but if you find it useful, even better.

Thanks for reading and visiting the site. Hope it helps you plan your level ups.
